Staff was encouraged to donate blood as blood can be a life saver for someone else in the future. Consequently, staff will know that donation is not limited to money, food, or shelter. Some hospitals are low in blood reserve in the bloodbanks therefore continous blood donation is a noble act to be practised.

MSOG has conducted a follow-up visit to the Lotus Charity Care Centre. Since this is the second visit, many residents still recognised our friendly faces and they happily welcomed us. For this CSR event, our staff have offered their hands to clean, fix, and tidy almost anything in the centre. Interacting with the old and young residents will instill awareness among the staff about perseverance, gratitude, compassionate, and thankful of the moments that we can share with our loved ones. Besides the sustenance contribution, MSOG also have donated 3 personal computers for the usage of the centre's residents.

An orphanage and an old folk's home in Semenyih were identified for the  CSR event which were Shepherd and Lotus Charity.

The purpose is to encourage better understanding and good relationship between staff and the under-privileged children. The activities included were giving away contributions, conducting game shows & mini-sports, giving HSE & IT talks, doing housekeeping, and gotong-royong.

The gotong-royong was held as part of the efforts to instill an awareness on cleanliness among the staff. They have enjoyable moments as the management worked hand-in-hand with the staff in cleaning up the office premise. After that, there was a luncheon to celebrate 2.5 Million Man Hour Worked Without LTI (Lost Time Injury).

MSOG staff spent half of their Saturday with the orphans at Rumah Anak Yatim Nur Hikmah. Staff was shown that we should be thankful of what we have and must help the needy. The activities were story-telling, coloring contest, counselling, and donation give away.

Another CSR activity by MSOG. Sungai Gabai whole area has been cleaned up by the highly-motivated staff who could not stand the calling of the cold waterfalls and pristine clear river.
